Hosted at the Farragut Church of Christ in Farragut, Tennessee, this FREE EVENT brings together talented Christian songwriters to share their heartfelt creations and the faith-filled journeys that inspired them.

Songwriter Performances: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
(there will be a 20 minute intermission)

Jim Bowman: A life long singer/ songwriter, Jim has some impressive credentials.
He wrote a chart record for Mel Tillis that became a music video for Mel. Jim also wrote a song for Roy Rogers that was used in the autobiography video of the King of the Cowboys. As a performer Jim has opened shows and shared stages with many giants of the entertainment industry including Kenny Rodgers, Reba McEntire, the Oak Ridge Boy the Gatlins, and Micky Gilley just to name a few.
David Lauver: David Haley Lauver (LAW-ver) is a Farragut resident who is a gospel, country and bluegrass songwriter.
David was a co-writer of the Grammy-nominated “Appalachian Blue,” recorded by Kristy Cox. Among his other recorded co-writes are “Jezebel” by Ali Shumate and current gospel hit “The News That Never Changes” by The King James Boys---all songs that topped the Bluegrass radio charts.
In 2014, David was selected to the East Tennessee Writers Hall of Fame. He serves as education and public relations director of the Knoxville Songwriters Association and is a columnist for The Bluegrass Standard magazine.
Candace Sutter: Candace Sutter’s passion for music and faith comes alive in every song she writes and performs. Her debut album, Open Your Heart, introduced listeners to heartfelt tracks like Open Up for Us the Gates of Heaven, She Taught Him How to Pray, and Here Am I.
Building on that momentum, Candace recently released two powerful singles, Redeemed and Heal, which have resonated deeply with her fans. She has now released her latest praise and worship song, Lord Almighty, a moving anthem of faith and devotion.
Candace also brings a sense of peace and reflection to her music with her Christmas Meditation Aria, a beautiful collection of traditional hymns for piano and voice. In addition, Melody Air, the first release from her Reflective Moments collection of piano solos, showcases her gift for creating music that soothes the soul.
