Hosted at the Farragut Church of Christ in Farragut, Tennessee, this FREE EVENT brings together talented Christian songwriters to share their heartfelt creations and the faith-filled journeys that inspired them.

Meet The Songwriters

Rachel Durbin: Known for her powerful voice and penetrating lyrics, Rachel Durbin has been making waves since she started releasing music in 2021. With the power of God's redemptive work fueling her creative endeavors, she has taken off at an unexpected pace!

Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Rachel's life was radically changed by Jesus towards the end of her college career. Ever since that day, she has worn many hats: Music Teacher, Singer, Songwriter, Worship Leader, Wife & Mother of Five, but through it all she has been grounded by her true identity as a "Child of God."

Rachel wrote songs as a creative outlet for much of her life, yet hesitated to share her music publicly. She had a dream in 2020, however, that inspired her to start learning how to properly steward her songwriting gift, and started stepping out in faith. She joined the Writing Worship Community and the Kingdom Music Academy, started a YouTube channel, and relocated with her family to East Tennessee.

Rachel's original work incorporates a range of genres, blending CCM, pop, folk, country, techno, and even reggae. She has worked with producers from all over the world (Canada, UK, Germany), and regularly collaborates with other writers to create music that speaks to people of all different backgrounds. Her music is now streaming in over 40 different countries, and her YouTube channel has amassed over 152k streams!

"Things Change" is Rachel's largest scale project to date, and was masterfully produced by Robby Valderrama and his team at Spring Hill Studios, Nashville. It is a beautiful mix of funk, jazz, and blues with a powerful Gospel message! Written in 2024 at the Writing Worship Conference by Rachel Durbin, Heidi Kottke, Jalyn McGill, and Eric Stair, the song went from idea to release in just over one year! Even more amazing, is that the production and promotion costs have been supplied by a community of generous donors that truly believe in the song's potential to direct people toward the saving power of Jesus!

Rachel's life was radically changed by Jesus many years ago, and through the release of this song, she hopes many more will be inspired to make a similar choice. She is no longer afraid to step out in faith, as she has seen that God is able to do far more than she could ever ask or imagine!

Vic Gallagher: Vic Gallagher is a seasoned guitarist with over five decades of experience across country, rock, bluegrass, and swing. He has played in several bluegrass and outlaw country bands and has recently focused on acoustic music and songwriting.

His songs are based on real-life experiences and scripture. He is blessed to go to a church that encourages him to perform his original songs and instrumental hymn arrangements. He has been out of the public performing circuit for many years and now feels the Lord leading him to get out and share his music.

Hailey Joy: Hailey Joy is a 20-year-old singer-songwriter from Knoxville, Tennessee. Through heartfelt lyrics and honest storytelling, she reminds listeners that joy can be found not only in life’s highs but also in its hardest moments.

She also leads with Restless Revival — a worship collective devoted to pointing hearts, minds, and souls toward their Creator, leading the broken and weary back to the Father for revival and restoration.

Troy Stavros (Host): Troy’s ability to craft songs that connect with both artists and audiences has brought his music to listeners worldwide. From international artists to award-winning songs featured in independent films, his work resonates on a global scale. Troy’s songs not only inspire but also elevate the projects they’re a part of, making him a sought-after collaborator in the entertainment industry. Whether penning heartfelt ballads or crafting high-energy anthems, Troy Stavros continues to leave an indelible mark on the music world, one song at a time.
